The Noida Greater Noida Express Highway connects NOIDA and Greater NOIDA, two major Industrial townships of District Gautam Budh Nagar, coming under the State of Uttar Pradesh (India). This link has improved the connectivity between NOIDA and Greater NOIDA and adds value to areas in its proximity.
The total length of Noida Greater Noida Express Highway is about 23.627 km.Out of this total, 20.127 Km lies in Noida and 3.5 Km. in Greater Noida.

The expressway has six lanes with service roads on both sides for local traffic. The beauty of this Express Highway is that it has no Light Traffic Signals and no on road intersections. The expressway has overhead bridge and underpasses at different intersections. There are three bridges and five culverts along the road. The longest bridge is over the Hindon River spanning 200 mtrs. All the bridges and culverts are six-lane-wide structures.s

This link is an extension of the urban expressway towards the western edge of Noida - starting near Amity School and terminating at Sterling Golf Resorts in Greater NOIDA.The cost of the expressway, excluding land acquisition, works out to approx. Rs.155 crores. This includes a four-lane-wide rigid pavement with vacant central verge for two additional lanes, to be added.
The total width of expressway is 150 m. i.e. 75 m. on either side of the center line. The right of way of the expressway is 75 m. and rest of the area on both sides i.e. 37.50 m will be developed as a green belt. The land is being acquired by the respective authorities and handed over for construction.
The major benefit from the project is improved connectivity of NOIDA and Greater NOIDA at the regional level, thereby improving prospects of attracting new Industries, Trade, Commerce and Development of Infrastructure. This has resulted in improvement in accessibility of the southwestern part of NOIDA, which is under development. Further it has reduced traffic load on the DSC road.
It also acts as a bypass facility for traffic to Noida / Greater Noida and for regional traffic not generated in NOIDA and/or Greater NOIDA.
Another important aspect is saving of valuable travel time and travel costs for regional traffic generated at these towns.
